Academic Projects

Academic projects are projects centralized in dates and scope, and all our partners get to participate and interact at the same time, often with webinars, challenges and prizes. As a partner, you will be able to invite local institutions you work with to join these projects and promote Full Sail University and your own services through these projects.

Please find here the calendar of academic projects expected to happen in 2022:


  • Creativity Marathon : March to May 2022.

    This activity is exclusive for High School students.
    The Creativity Marathon is an opportunity for high school students from all around the world to come together to solve some of the world's greatest challenges through a filmmaking competition.

    With the help of some filmmaking lessons from Full Sail, teams of three to five students, accompanied by an adult sponsor, will have until April 17, 2022 to produce a three-minute video showing a clear and creative solution to one or more of UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goals.



  • Teacher Appreciation Week : May 2022.

    The Teacher Appreciation Week is a moment to celebrate educators and all they do for the society. It is a week filled with webinars and exclusive content, only for educators, that we proudly offer with the support of some of our most valuable industry partners. Lots of fun, knowledge and engagement for educators around the globe!



  • Teacher Professional Development : February to November 2022.

    The Teacher Professional Development is a series of webinars about teaching techniques to enhance engagement and boost the classroom experience, even if it is a virtual one!

    There are 8 independent modules, that englobe: Technology in the Classroom, Gamification in the Classroom, Project Based Learning in the Classroom, Transmedia Storytelling in the Classroom, Psychology of Play in the Classroom, Music in the Classroom, Media and Communication in the Classroom and a summary of all 8 modules, each one happening on a month.

    A certificate of attendance is given to educators that conclude each module, and a final certificate is given to teachers that take all 8 modules during the year. Teachers who finalize TPD 2023 will qualify to participate as mentors in TPD 2023.



  • TechFest : August to November 2022.

    This activity is exclusive for High School students.
    The TechFest is an opportunity for high school students to engage and reflect about technology and how it is changing the globe.
    During this academic project, participants will be in contact with technology players that run the industry, understand buzz areas such as Game Design, Game Development, E-sports, user Experience, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and many other hot topics that they should consider while deciding which career they are planning to choose.

  • Virtual Experience : Monthly edition.

    The Virtual XP is a 20-hour project that allows participants to experience creativity through a set of webinars offered by Full Sail instructors, staff members and graduates in the format of hands-on exercises, presentation and panels.



    A monthly edition is offered and you can request to have local institutions you work with to participate in them as long as the participants match the selected audience for the edition you select.
