About the
Music Arena 2026

With guidance from Full Sail University, individually or in groups with up to 5 students, accompanied by an adult sponsor, participants will have until October 17th, 2026 to produce an original music track that highlights their creativity and technical skills. Participants will be challenged to demonstrate their ability to create, mix, and produce music!

Meet the Judges

The judges will score each entry and will select the top six (6) entries based on the stated criteria. The entry receiving the highest score will be designated the potential winner. The next five (5) highest scoring entries will be designated as honorable mentions.

Video Judging Rubric

Entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Full Sail University, which may include Degree Program Instructors, High School Outreach leadership staff, Marketing leadership staff, and Industry Related members invited by team sponsors based on their work experience and/or expertise.

Entries will be judged on a one-hundred (100) point scale by the panel based on the following criterias:

Prizes and awards

Award winners will be announced LIVE during the Virtual Awards Ceremony on October 28th. There will be 5 Honorable Mention nominations and one Winner nomination.

Rules and Regulation

SPONSOR REGISTRATION & DEADLINE

Each team participating in the contest must have a sponsor (teacher, counselor, coordinator or other member of the staff of the school the team is representing) and 1-5 high school students. Sponsors are able to participate on multiple teams, but students are limited to joining only one team.


REQUIREMENTS FOR A RECOGNITION OF PARTICIPATION

Students that watch the online on demand lessons and submit a project will be able to receive a Student Recognition of Participation (Certificate of Participation). This document will be available for the student on the digital platform of the competition.
